Files and Folders Encryption

 

Encrypted Files and Folders provide organizations with the power to enforce document encryption, no matter where it resides.

Secure access to these encrypted documents can then be shared with individuals or groups across the organization without compromising corporate privacy policies and procedures.

Strict security measures ensure that unauthorized activity, such as copying a file to a USB key, is prevented and the user is notified by a “restricted” pop up message.

The flow of files from the desktop to a mobile device can be controlled via the user policies or restricted completely. The encryption of files is always present so in the event that a file is unknowingly copied off a device, the data can only be decrypted with the user’s password.

To copy a file the user should be logged into the system or provide an access password before the copy function to be completed.
